Those groovy people at fashionsussex.co.uk have nominated us for their Eco Designer award – I’ve always wanted to strutt my stuff with the fashionistas – wonder what colour cape I should wear that night!  We’re up against some fantastic companies, but it’s great to know that eco clothing for kids will be put on the map!  We want more and more people to buy eco and ethically produced clothing so that people start to to see it as a life statement, not just a fashion statement:):)  Thanks Fashion Sussex :) :)

      • Guest blog article on daisychainbaby.co.uk

Jenny recently wrote an article on daisychainbaby.co.uk on D-Teching your life :

“I love many aspects of the modern technological world, but times are very trying I find. At the moment I’m trying to get my business off the ground.  I’m trying to keep on top of bringing up the kids (5, 12 and 16) (!!).  Trying to remember to talk nicely to my lovely patient other half, and be equally as nice back. Trying to maintain some sort of a social life without drinking too much or even smoking! (Not a puff for 1 1/2 years now).  And, on top of all this I’m TRYING to get to grips with technology: uploading and downloading; how to create and what to do with jpegs, psds and pdfs, photoshopping; being an amusing and savvy tweeter and facebooker! Arghhhhhhhhhh!  So much of it is like learning a foreign language from scratch.  Am I the ONLY eejit in the world who doesn’t know how to zip?…

      • Happy Hopperz for a Hoppy Christmas

        Happy Hoppers Reindeer

        Have a Hoppy Christmas

Although we all try to steer clear of plastic toys, we can’t help but LOVE these Happy Hopperz.  They’re like space hoppers from the Seventies but because they have four feet, they’re much easier for little ones to balance on.  There’s Cows, Bulls, Horses, Zebras, Dogs.  They’re colourful and fun and a bit bonkers – there’s even a Red Reindeer for Chrismas.  They’re easy to transport – just inflate or deflate as you need them.  They’re made from EU approved phthalates free pvc & contain no heavy metal elements .  All products are CE tested & approved.  They’re on special offer at www.babyblack.co.uk so hurry and make sure you have a truly Hoppy Christmas!

      • PINEAPPLES MAKE TASTY CLOTHES

It’s true!!!!  These days people are finding uses for all kinds of unusual things in order to produce new fabrics – things that are easy to grow without chemicals, and which use less water and land than for cotton.  Did you know that we humans now make eco-fabrics from stinging nettles, coconut shells, seaweed, banana skins, milk and even re-cycled bottles to make our clothes and bedding etc.  Good manufacturers are constantly looking for clean, safe, eco-friendly ways of producing fibres which make the fabrics that we’re going to introduce to you in our SUPERNATURAL kids clothing collections – join us on our journey in to the future!
